hehe TeRRa does have his own way with words

Yes, during the move visitors will see what is shown at http://echo.FutureQuest.net/ and once the move is complete, begin seeing your web site again.

On a different accord, have I ever mentioned how many backup copies I have of our DNS zone files (and server files)...

It would surely be a real PITA if I had to type all those back in manually!

So what do I win for figuring out your last tagline, Terra? I didn't have to look at it more than once, honest .

Obviously like everybody else I can't wait until we all get the new NOC and the reliability it will most likely provide of course.

hmm.. wonder if this counts again the monthly uptime.

(I know I know... tacky & selfish... sorry, just more worried about my site's future given I'm not working at the moment due to being nearly beaten to death and suffering brain damage week or so ago).

Blind Guess answer to Terra's question:

Quote:
1) The answer you seek needs to be viewed at the protocol level
IP protocol

2) It is an item that remains unchanging
208.243.19.17 (the server IP)

3) It holds special significance to the history of FutureQuest
The two of you met when Deb was 19 and you were 17...or was it the other way around?

"Huh?! Please say you're joking?"

Um nope not joking unfortunately. I now have some "retrograde amensia" involving the incident so don't recall what exactly caused it while working security.

Egads Armand.... I'm sure we're all sorry to hear this Here's wishing you the best with your recovery. Coming from someone who's dealt with quite a bit in the past I do know all things can work out well in the end!

Hang in there.... time (and taking the time to care for yourself!) heals.
