FQuest Notice: IRM's and IE Image Caching

For those with IRM's and DS:IRM's, you may well know that IE has always had problems with not caching the images, forcing a reload everytime...  This would also exhibit very sluggish results for onmouseovers as well...

This particular problem had mystified me for quite some time until last night...

I dug out the heavy artillery and did detailed protocol analysis and traced the error back into IE's caching sub-system...  IRM's utilize mod_rewrite to shift the document_root dynamically and was adding a Vary: header which is used by proxies for optimum results...  IE on the other hand does not handle this header so well, causing it to ignore caching from any IRM'd content...

After the reboot with SIX and NINE, all domains are now updated with the new IRM code to work around this ugly IE bug...  TAZ will be reworked this weekend...
