IE 5 and agent stats?
I'm curious, what does MSIE show up like in the FQ user agent stats? I see MSIE 3.x and MSIE 4.x, and I even recently found a Modzilla 5 (which appeared to be a search spider, from what I could figure out), but no MSIE 5. Yet favicon.ico has started showing up in my 404's, so someone must be visiting with IE 5, right?
Just wondering . . .

I am working on a program that will update everyone's STATS config file enmasse... IE5 needs to be added in order for it to be properly shown in the STATS reports...
When it comes to updating over 500+ files, I am very cautious with the programming to make sure I don't create a very large mess... There are multiple revision levels that I must contend with, and also some custom client modifications that I have to work around in the process...
The need is simple, to accomplish is a painstaking process of design, coding, and delivery...

I made the mod to my stats config file manually the day after IE 5 came out ('twas insanely easy), along with a few other minor tweaks (session length, no www. in all the links in the package) - how will this update effect me?

It won't affect you, as my program will parse everyone's config file (one by one) and adjust only if necessary...
The change is simple, the underlying problem is bulk of config files that need to be updated... If it were just a handful, it would not be a problem... When you start dealing with parsing and interpreting 500+ config files (while not walking on custom customer configurations), then the coding becomes quite particular...
This project is on my TODO list, but has not started yet with the upcoming NOC upgrades ensue...

Hi Terra-
I was up in Flagler Beach for my honeymoon, that's like 1 or 2 exits up from you all, isn't it?
Anyhow, and I'll post you email on this, but could you give me ownership of my stats.conf?
I want to play wiv it. (actually, there are some modifications I want to make that I don't want to bother you to do.)
