My efm directory got zapped

Everything but the index.php file in /big/dom/xljvideo/www/efm has disappeared. I've done nothing to cause this.

Yesterday, I could access efm as usual, today, it's a blank web page.

Any ideas..?

Re: My efm directory got zapped

Nevermind... Remembered that the filter files are located somewhere else, but that still doesn't explain why I'm getting a blank page when accessing EFM.

Re: My efm directory got zapped

Thanks, Melissa. I see that I've been "upgraded" to PHP5.

Re: My efm directory got zapped

I've found a simple fix for EFM.

Thanks to hints in Matt's post here (as I am NOT a PHP programmer) but it turns out the problem is the $this variable.

Here is the fix:

Go to your file
/big/dom/xdomain/www/efm/

find the file
index.php

In that file change all occurences of
$this

to

$this2
(or some other value that starts with a dollar sign and is not the same as $this)

There were 10 such occurences in my index.php file.

I changed them all, saved the index.php file, and now it works again.

Re: My efm directory got zapped

Yep, I did it based on Melissa's earlier post, and now I can access the EFM manager again.

Huh. My index.php file doesn't contain "$this" anywhere.

Maybe it's an earlier version (v1.15 is the last)?

All three of my EFM installs had that in it. Replacing it did the trick!
