Re: [FQuest Announce] PHP4 to PHP5 Upgrades November 2008

Due to a failure with the PHP4 engines, I am halting all further upgrades until tomorrow so that I can take the time to revert all Apache/PHP4 engines back to previous working version....

http://www.aota.net/forums/showthread.php?t=24420

The remaining servers to be upgraded are:
CASPER, BENDER, NIBBLER, LEELA, HC02, HC03, and all MQS systems

Re: [FQuest Announce] PHP4 to PHP5 Upgrades November 2008

Could this be why all of my sites are not responding? I am unable to login to any of my databases, and I have a full inbox of users that are complaining about not being able to access their accounts. Please help. It's kinda hard to contact a programmer at 8AM Sunday morning.

Re: [FQuest Announce] PHP4 to PHP5 Upgrades November 2008

Please send an email to Service@FutureQuest.net with the details of any problems however all sites that requested an Exclusion from the PHP5 upgrade that experienced problems appear to have been corrected at this time.

Re: [FQuest Announce] PHP4 to PHP5 Upgrades November 2008

OK, I just searched my emails for PHP4 and noticed that you guys warned me on 10/16/08 about this change....My fault fo not preparing. As a non-programmer I did not realize this was a major upgrade and most of the upgrades at FQ in the past went on without any problem for me anyway.

With that said, may I [pretty please] request an extension or exclusion of the upgrade to my sites?

Hi again Lee,

I just replied to your ticket with a possible work around. If that fails please reply back with the request for moving back to PHP4.
