I'm curious, what was going on at FQ when:
"Most users ever online was 700, 04-24-2006 at 09:10 PM"

This is not a 'where were you...' moment for me, so I figure it must have been specific to FQ?

A gathering of bots, which occurs for reasons only they know. Sorry about trying to be too cute.

I asked a similar question years ago, before bots were identified on the who's online page. I suppose it's possible that the FQ forum was mentioned on some national news show or something but if those were real people I'd guess that at least some of them would have posted something...

Now I remember where I was - battling the East-Euro bots that were hammering my YABB forum (and eventually forced me to take it down)
