Urgent: Can we edit quark document in Acrobat Writer

The pdf form is prepared graphic designer Quark, saved as pdf and editing the form in Adobe Writer. Iam able to add new controls, and also able to delete the original controls designed in quark but when editing iam getting error "Could not launch external object editing application". Can anybody please help me regarding this.
