[FQuest Notice] MYSQL06 Software Upgrade

Duration: About 10 minutes outage of MySQL
Software Upgrade: MySQL Upgrade From MySQL v.3.23.58 to v.4.0.26
The MYSQL06 server is the last FutureQuest server still running MySQL version 3.23.x. It will be upgraded to MySQL version 4.0.26 to bring it inline with the other servers.
The downtime will be about 10 minutes and will only affect the MySQL service for accounts that use the MYSQL06 server. The work will happen during our standard 12am-5am EST maintenance window with a post here before and after the actual outage.
The server your MySQL Databases are located on can be found by visiting the MySQL Manager within your CNC.
For those who followed the previous upgrades there will be no hardware, IP, or hostname changes this time. This is because the MYSQL06 server was built with different hardware than the MYSQL01-MYSQL05 servers and does not need any modifications to handle the increased resource requirements of the newer MySQL version.
