[FQuest Announce] Additional Contact Email Address Option

What: Site Owners may specify a special email address for News and Alerts
When: Effective Immediately
Who: All FutureQuest Site Owners
Impact: More flexibility for Site Owners in routing emails from FutureQuest

From time to time FutureQuest sends general notices and alerts to Site Owners in an effort to let them know about changes and additions with the services offered (News) or about urgent situations affecting many accounts (Alerts).

In the past FutureQuest has sent such broadcast communications to the primary email address for the account or to the QuestReport mailing list. Some Site Owners have requested that FutureQuest make it possible to direct such broadcast emails to an alternate address, and now it is possible!

By default, all News and Alert emails are sent to the account holder's primary email address on file for the account. If you wish to override this default setting, you may do so by visiting the QuestAdmin Account Manager.

Once you have logged in to QuestAdmin, click on the Contact Info tab and scroll down to the email section. There you will see the different email addresses that may be associated with your account's contact information. To set a News and Alerts address different than your primary email address, click on the Update Alerts Email link and submit the desired address.

First time users of QuestAdmin will need to first create a Login Access. To do so, click on the Create Login tab and submit the form.

Note: If you override the News and Alerts email address, and set some address different than the primary email address, then these broadcast emails will not be sent to your primary address.

We hope that this new addition will assist you in ensuring notices go to the best possible address (often times an alias stack so it reaches all of your site admins) while also helping us to be able to better communicate with Site Owners.
