Wild, wild life

I was reading some instructions yesterday, and was amused by:
  • Observe which plants butterflies like. Move your house closer to those plants
  • Your house should be 12 to 18 inches above the ground

These were instructions for a butterfly house.

I don't understand your new avatar. I can understand No Fly Zone with the basic picture (although I don't know your particular reason for targeting flies), but I don't understand "BAD SPIDER."

Re: Wild, wild life

Spiders I've identified as e-mail slurpers get a page called "no fly zone" with the message "bad spider. no fly"

Re: Wild, wild life

I was just noticing that the hidden email addresses in my forms show up when I use "view source" (duh). I seem to get a lot less spam using forms, though, than posting mailto links. So how do you identify these e-mail slurpers, and would they catch form readers too?

Re: Wild, wild life

oooo, I like the canary's email addy.

Now that you mention it, I think I remember you talking about this one day when I was busy with something and only giving the forums a cursory look. My memory is getting as bad as Randall's.

You should build those addresses into the script where it won't be visible to wandering arachnids...

I got to be where I am only after years of practice (none of which I can recall at the moment). Don't think you're quite there yet.

Could you elaborate on this, Randall? I just followed the knowledgebase instructions...

Wasn't this thread about butterfly houses or silly instructions or something? I forget.
