The 2003 Merry Christmas Thread

Well it's just gone 1:20am here, and I'm still awake, and still coding, and barely even noticed that an hour of my Christmas is gone already. Yikes! So I better rush out and say:

Merry Christmas from Perth, .AU!

Maybe I'll just consider this good practice for new year's day....

How does Santa keep the reindeers from falling down when he delivers presents down under. Isn't everything upside-down there? I assume you had to rotate your avatar 180 degrees so it would appear normal to us northern hermispherites.

Even Google didn't know the answer to that one!

Ummmmmm, errrrr, weeelllll, hmmmm... for the same reason there isn't a manger or a santa? ... We just tried to keep it simple. There is a mistletoe, however, so feel free to kiss someone

Dig a hole in the bottom half and hibernate to begin dreaming about the spring time mating season?

Hehe that turtle's sneaky. I'm gonna have to check the other headers for other turtles lol (halloween, thanksgiving, etc)

I do want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, or Happy Chanukkah, or any other holiday you are celebrating.
I know I will, also I wrote this the other day if anyone is interested (Christian view, no offense meant to others)

My mistake, I thought that was a santa hat on Banana Jr.

I don't get the Banana Jr. reference either, but I noticed that hobbes dances in rhythm to Barry Manilow's Jingle Bells.

And I found this at http://toastytech.com/guis/banana2.html:
Quote:
The Banana Computer Company went out of business in April of 1985. Reportedly it was a painful demise for the company, losing $319 million in march alone. The chairman of the board did a swan dive out of a 63rd floor window after painting "capitalism sucks" across his chest. The brains behind the design of the Banana Jr. , Berke Breathed, reportedly went insane and became a cartoonist. The Banana Jr. was discontinued and the platform abandoned.
