[FQuest Announce] Remote Autoresponder Management Script

FutureQuest is pleased to announce the availability of a new script and command line program that make it possible for POP email users to manage their own Autoresponder without access to the CNC!.

Clients have requested a way to allow their end users to manage their own Autoresponder without access to the CNC, and FutureQuest has taken the time to develop a solution.

Up until now, the primary account holder had to be involved every time one of their POP email users wanted a change made to their Autoresponder. Without access to the CNC there was not a simple way to configure Autoresponders.

To relieve the primary account holder of this tedium, we now have two solutions available:

(1) The RespondMGR cgi script. This cgi script provides a web interface to the fq-autoresponder program, allowing end users to make their own updates to their email account's Autoresponder. The RespondMGR script is easy to install and highly customizable and will meet the needs of most Site Owners. To download the RespondMGR package containing the script and documentation, visit:
http://www.Aota.net/Email/autoresponder.php4#RespondMGR

(2) The fq-autoresponder program. This is a command line program accessible via telnet/SSH that can also be used in scripts. In the event that the RespondMGR script does not meet a particular site's unique needs, the fq-autoresponder program can be used by your own developers to write custom scripts that can access and update the Autoresponders. Documentation for the fq-autoresponder program is contained within the RespondMGR package. To download the RespondMGR package, go here:
http://www.Aota.net/Email/autoresponder.php4#RespondMGR

Enjoy!

Wow. Thank you. I guess it was a gamble to pay someone to write something very similar a few months back.... Oh well. I do appreciate that FQ has added this to their repitoir. Very cool.
