Amazon wish list, anyone?

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...84106?v=glance

I bet a few of those pop up on x-mas wish lists...

Weren't they just recalled, though?

Getting a distribution outlet as large as Amazon could do wonders for mass production and bringing the price down...

I saw several of them in person for the first time this summer up in Vancouver. Pretty cool looking things. I got the impression the ones I saw were rentals, so I'll have to look into trying one of them out next time I'm up there.

Yikes, that could explain the recall. They'll be into the triple digit version numbers before the darn thing becomes affordable.

Figures I would have missed something in a video game thread. But to be a spoil sport, I don't exactly see it on your wish list...

I took the kiddos to Disney 2 weeks ago, and there were Disney workers ("cast members" ) demonstrating their use at Epcot. It was neat, you could ask anything about their use and implementation . . . just not try them out LOL. The guy we spoke to said it took him just 5 minutes to learn how to drive it. They had the wheelchair that goes up and down stairs too, by the same folks.

One of the funniest "interviews" I've seen was Russell Crowe on Jay Leno back when the Seqway was pretty new and Crowe was fresh off of Gladiator. They were riding them all around the stage and it became almost a reenactment of the battle of Carthage (?). The best part, though, was the Segway guy who was following Crowe around like a little puppy, presumably because they were scared ****less of him falling, hurting himself, and suing the company out of business. Crowe kept snapping at the guy to leave him alone, and it got rather comical.

This trip down memory lane brought to you by the seque maestro...
