new domain name...

I would like to purchase a new domain name and put up a couple html pages for that url..... I would like to just use the server space I have with my current package, ditschfitness. Is this possible....?

Sorry about the lack of activity and thinking.. schools in session and my brain isn't...

Hi Gary,

An IRM should meet your needs

Hope this helps,

well -

I decided to go ahead an purchase a starter package for this site as it is just going to make it a little easier for us.... (or for me)

I thought I did everything as I did last time I set stuff up, but the domain name doesn't seem to pull up the index page.... the default page that fq puts up as I haven't done anything with it....

the domain is: www.danandgary-roadtrip2004.org

any help as to how to trouble shoot this or were to look for answers would help...

later - garyd

by the way - I have waited a little over 24 hours after activation...

Hello Gary,

Propagation will take, on average, 24 - 72 hours to complete and this page clearly shows that DNS entries are not yet found...

danandgary-roadtrip2004.org does not exist (Authoritative answer)
No nameservers for danandgary-roadtrip2004.org found"

In fact in checking with the whois at ICANN and the Public Registry I am unable to find any indication it has yet been registered

http://www.pir.org/cgi-bin/whois.cgi

I would double check with your Domain registrar and make sure the registration transaction was completed and that this is just slowness on their part...
