Happy Birthday ....
I don't think I've ever seen it be so many people's birthday here: Monty (42), one2net (35), TheEgo , crb , bern (37), Sue Lee MBIPDT (58), OLAC (35), Randall , servlet , bhl311 (28), inspiredmom (32). Happy birthday to all of you, especially the ones I recognize--Monty, one2net and even Randall, even though he's cheating by having his alter [The]Ego listed too.

Well, it's still yesterday in California, but I'll take a cue from Wassercrats and get a jump on the gun...
Many Happy Returns of the Day to y'all.

Oh, yeah. Thanks for reminding me.
Can't count my age on my toes anymore, so don't ask how old.
I've noticed over the years that September is a pretty popular time for birthdays. I've known many a person who was born within a few days of me, give or take a few years. Friend of mine had a theory on that.

Not if you give it a 4-digit year. Wanted me to believe that I won't be born for another 1864 years.

The more guests of honor the bigger the party, right?
Happy birthday to you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you...

Thanks folks, and just for grins, I will share a bit of my weekend.
Saturday was my 17th anniversary and yesterday my BD. So we planned a huge party at the house, posted in on my forums, the whole bit. We even had a band and the lead singer and I graduated together. I invited the local constable to attend, which he did with his wife. Well, things were rolling along pretty good and right about sundown, someone comes around back and lets me know the PD are out front. I knew for a fact that every nieghbor bun one was out of town for the weekend (I only have 6).
I spoke with the PD for a bit, reached a compromise of 9 PM to shut the band down and just play acoustical. About 8:30 or so, I stroll out front and half the League City PD is roaming our street. There were cars for a good 3 miles each way and a dozen PD cars So, I snag one of the officers and ask him what's up. He let's me know that I need to really work hard on the 9PM deal. Well, before I could speak with the Constable who was my guest, it's 9PM, and the big raid is on.
It's been 20 years since I have been to a party that got raided and longer since I threw one. I had to laugh, got to speak with the Lt. in charge and told him I would have things in hand shortly. We made an orderly retreat to the barn, house and garage to let the PD off the hook ( I went to school with half of them too) and then about half the guests headed home. The other half quietly migrated back out of the house, ect. and into the yard again. We spent until close to midnight, just playing guitars, singing around the fire and having fun, and eating BBQ. All of us were laughing about the big raid, and how long it had been since we had been in one. It was a great party and great weekend, and I spent yesterday cleaning up, enjoying the company of my dogs and in general just kicking back. Next time, I think we will hire the PD for security, lol. I just wish you could have seen the look on the Lt.'s face when he saw our constable sans wife sitting next to me during the big raid. It ain't a party if it don't get raided.

Happy birthday to the celebrators (and the non-celebratory as well, LOL!)
