It sounds like the script is trying to access the root directory.

You only have permission to access directories within
/big/dom/xdomain

where "xdomain" is usually your domain preceeded by an "x" (check your Activation Letter for details).

and also a few other directories such as /usr/lib and the like.

But you do not have access to the root directory which is represented by
/

Perhaps this is a misconfiguration issue? Usually when you set up a script you need to give it certain information like the directory/path information for your account and server. Perhaps something is entered incorrectly there?

I'm pretty sure that other site owners have managed to get Yabb to work on the FutureQuest servers before??? I am not familiar with the script itself, so I can't say much more than the above.

New Site Owners should click here

OK, I finally figured out that all the files I uploaded from YaBB go into the CGI-BIN folder in the File Manager. Duh Me~~~

Man!

Anyway, because of this, I got my domain page back at yyy parapower org

I reckon you know them y's are w's with a "." between them and parapower, and there's a "." after parapower and the "org".

Won't let me show thay url till I get 10 posts...

So much to learn. Now I got to figure how to get an HTML doc made and inserted onto the domain so I can TRY to get this YaBB loaded. Man!

Good luck. Sounds like you are on your way. Feel free to come back and ask for more help, though, if you need to.

You might want to try out that the "Site Owner" link above ?
