email, ftp & bandwidth

i wouldn't be able to sleep for sometime now because of the incident that happened to me, so let me ask again my question:

does ftp upload to my site (when i update my site) and incoming & outgoing mail count as bandwidth?
or
does it affects if i change my web pages more often, and if i am subscribed to i don't know mailing list for TV program that i receive mails every day?

thank you all

Hi again,

Currently email and FTP transfer does not count against your package bandwidth allotment. Email will be added to the mix at some point, possibly in the near future as well as FTP transfer.

So for Today not to worry, Tomorrow is a New day and New days always bring change

- No I am not saying tomorrow -

Let's hope FQ times it for when the plans get one of those *free* bandwidth boosts

Memo to self: start using ISP's email accounts more, transfer all those extravagant HTML mailings to AT&T too...

Bob, is email also going to count against disk space allowances somewhere down the road? After getting 27 megs of it last night, I just had to ask

E-mail is already counted against disk space (it's in your disk space usage report on the CNC), just not against bandwidth. Yet.

Email has and does count against your Disk Space allotments. As you will note within the CNC Disk Usage manager:
"Email Space occupied by your Email Accounts X.XX MB"

In many instances of site owners exceeding their Disk Space allotment it is the result of email, especially now that QuestMail is back as many leave email on the server.

As the Disk Space warnings point out:
"For a real time break down showing much of the space example.com is using visit http://www.example.com/CNC/diskspace.cgi with the account username and password. It is vital that you continuously monitor your Disk Space Usage to avoid a server violation and unexpected fees in the future."

Hey Bob - When I go to http://www.example.com/CNC/diskspace.cgi, I get a "page not found" error. What gives?
