one message stops my email from downloading

Outlook express is hanging up while trying to download the #98 message. Obviously I can't tell who or what sent it since it won't finish downloading.. ..and I can't get the rest of my email either until it does. Is there anyway to get it to skip a message it's having trouble with? Is there anywhere to read FQ domain emails on the web? HELP...

Hello,

You can access your email using QuestMail at:
http://QuestMail.FutureQuest.net

Using your email address and password to access you would be able to see what email is causing you the problem and then delete it or forward it to get it out of the way.

Hope this helps,
Bob

Just for information purpose, we are also encountering similar problems from time to time with no specific reason. We use Outlook Express and mails are scanned upon download by Norton antivirus (but I do not know if this can be related).

There have been reports of Outlook choking on email that Norton has detected something within. There have also been reports that Outlook has choked on large email and malformed headers.

In most instances using web based email access and removing the offending email allows Outlook to continue on it's merry way.

There is also a Utility that can be downloaded and installed for this purpose:
http://www.aota.net/Email/ScanMail.php4

In every instance it has been found to be a specific problem with the email client and/or anti-virus software.

Hope this helps,
Bob

I've had that happen a few times in the past with Outlook Express. I found a reboot or two got rid of the problem, and it didn't appear to have anything to do with the actual message contents (in my case).
