I am so tickled with myself!

I finally launched the new http://www.curvemag.com ! The site basically runs itself now. There are still some little tweaks here and there, but it is so exciting to finally have the new site up and running. This has been a year in the making! The site is running on LinksSQL from Gossamer-Threads (with no major code modifications, only template changes and some globals)

I want to thank the Deb and Terra at Futurequest for having the best **** hosting company, and Kitchin for the javacript popups and Dave for the random image script. (And anyone else I am forgetting right now)

We also partnered with a company to provide personals and our members seem to really like em!

So, I will be tweaking little things here and there, but it is LIVE.

Thanks everyone for your help in making this happen.

Congratulations Evie! I know you have been working hard.

When I get a chance I'll modify the random image script so you can pass the image directory as a command line parameter to allow you to have more than one random image per website.

I'm also having an ongoing discussion with the script maintainers about just what random really means. <grin>

Good for you, it's been obvious how much work you've been pouring into the redesign ! "Done" feels good, huh??

haha. I have been getting lots of feedback about the site being too wide. So I am working on the width thingy now! so you may see some abnormalities! It will be there soon. ARG. I should have waited to post this thread!

done.

yep. feels good. But I usually only have that feeling for a day or so, then I start to see all the things I want to fix. But for today, I am done.

The site looks nice, and is well organized.

The only (slight) suggestion that you might want to consider is to change the scroll bar color for your discussion page to match the rest of the site. (Or change the colors of the other pages to match the discussion page.)

It's a continuity thing.
