My confession to FutureQuest, please forgive me

As my yearly contract was running out, I was looking hard for another host to move on.  I feel so ashamed and low when I found out that FutureQuest, indeed, is the place to be.  I'm sorry I've ever doubted you.  It was stupid of me to think I will find the better host. I will make my payment on-time, before June 1.

Please let me stay with you guys, you must, I beg of you...

And when didn't the best of us look for greener grass?
Shortly after I made my decision to move I started thinking about some of my old hosts features. i.e. virtual e-mail addresses per domain on each virtual host, vs virtual e-mail addresses per virtual host, or stats per domain vs stats per virtual host.  BUT then I remembered:  Their Tech Support vs FQ's and The Forums and FQ's responsiveness to everything!  Then I realized I had made the right choice, BUT even I had some doubts, don't we all.  Just come back into the fold and I am sure that Deb and TeRRa wil make you as welcome as always.

Have a Good One and Welcome back to FQ
Bob

Hmmmm what to do, what to do? And you're a TAZer at that!

For the record: Those site owners on TAZ have been around the longest, have had the most uptime, have seen the most around the forums, have endured the most from tech support, in short, TAZers are the founding fathers of FutureQuest.  From T1s to OC-48s they've helped us build. And you tried to leave?!?!?!?  Tsk Tsk.

I dunno Tmax... I guess we could forgive you... after all, you have been around for quite some time.  It would be only natural to stray a bit.  You did come forth to tell the truth.  Honesty goes a long ways around here.

Ok... we forgive

Successful renewals are something to be celebrated on this end! Glad to hear you're sticking around!

So no one feels left out..

TAZ Site Owners - Described above, they are the first site owners to find FutureQuest.  The innovators.. the ones who told everyone else

SIX Site Owners - Seem to have endurance skills, the ability to restrain themselves in times of hostility.  They know that lemons do make lemonade and they were patient during the times of lemon-squashing.

SEVEN of NINE - Most are mysterious to FutureQuest.  The majority are siblings to Resellers.  Those not a mystery tend to enjoy the Service Desk and picking on Tech Support a great deal.

ASTRO - Oh Boy!  The ASTRO clients are unique all in their own ways.  The majority seem to be refugees from other hosts.  Many joined in with a great amount of anger and lack of trust.  The community has played a major role in trying to reassure them that they are welcome here and life on the net can be a more enjoyable experience.  ASTRO site owners are the ones that we have had the opportunity to see the most "change" from.  (They also just love the bandwidth!)

PHOENIX - These site owners are our newly welcomed members.  The majority are brand new to FutureQuest and just now entering the forums to introduce themselves.  Take care of them folks!

The FutureQuest community as a whole?  They were best describe recently by another member who visited our Survey Form.  The member stated, and I

I have found FutureQuest to be VERY VERY reliable. The support\management staff are very friendly and helpful. Just looking at the forums shows that! I actually think the people I have "met" in the forums are nice too, so maybe FutureQuest brings out the best in everyone! I have not had any need to post questions in the forum but always go in and read what's up. Questions have been answered before I need to ask them. Keep up the good work and thank you!

Hey I'm one of the new guys on PHOENIX   I think the slogan for FQ should be:

FutureQuest:  Where everybody knows your name...

Heh.  There is a great sense of community with this host.  I don't get the impression that they are charging for a service so much as they are providing a virtual home.

I hope to be here for a long time.

No that wasn't intentional.  I could swear that I had typed it out correctly the first time.  I want you to know that it is now fixed.

In my case, except for the reseller bit, I must say you hit that nail straight on the head!    But you know I love you...

As a side note, I switched one of my domains to a different host, because it was only a one page site.  Though only a one page site, I found myself cursing at the monitor saying "I WANT FQ!!!".  I don't plan on going anywhere, though I'm sure sometimes Deb, TeRRa, and Justin would like me to go far, far away.  (Refer to aforementioned post)

Welcome back!

LOL .. nah those such as YOU! just keep us on our toes

I can still, with total honesty, say FutureQuest has some of the BEST Site Owners on the net.  I don't know of any other host that has as many clients as us so willing to jump in and help out whether it be w/ tech or marketing, as FQ has... you all have kept us going through some pretty tight spots.  Things have, can, will, get tough but it's awesome how so many of you are willing to stick it out and get through it with us rather than jumping ship.

I'm a SIXer...  Surely one of the first - my order was in before it went online!

I also have an account on NINE (that I manage, not own), and a new one on ASTRO...  I'm just gonna hafta buy another account so I can have one on PHOENIX.

I think I'm one of the last to get on TAZ, and I love it! I think there's a "AIN'T MISBEHAVIN'" bumper sticker on the side of that box.

When he/she gets decommissioned (perish the thought), can all us TAZzers get a piece of it?
