product ordering/delivery?

I'm truly going nuts here, so I'm trying this again. I want to find a reputable company that will retail and deliver, electronic products and books. I currently use Infopost.com and since this is Monday, their system is once again broken.

I've checked out the AOTA FAQ, and the companies listed, and while Clickbank seems to be the most promising, email inquiries to them have gone with no response.

I want customers to be able to order online, pay with cc, and immediately download the electronic product in pdf format. I have lots of preferred features, but I'm getting concerned about finding other companies to do this, since it's fairly mission-critical to my business.

I've been doing Internet searches all morning, and while I'm getting lots of junk sites on all manner of topics, no success. If you don't have a specific suggestion, even a suggestion of keywords to search on would be a help.

Thanks.

I believe I mentioned previously that Kagi offers such a service. Did you have a chance to take a look at that?

I am not sure if paypal allows this sort of transaction, but they now have a real time system that I think would work in your situation. Basically you would put each item behind a password-protected page and paypal would create a login/password for them to get them at.

You might check it out at http://www.paypal.com

Hope this helps you..

I've never used these, but I came across them when I was toying with selling an ebook:

Special thanks to Dank for hunting up the correct Kagi URL. I've connected with them, got a fast response (quelle surprise). Meantime Clickbank wrote back. Since Clickbank has a setup fee, and Kagi doesn't, and Kagi supports downloads from their server (for a fee), I'm probably going to see how Kagi works out.

Also a reputation thing. I've dealt with Kagi, and no question they are reputable.

As a purchaser, I noticed over the past couple of years that I was frequently being redirected to DigiBuy (sometime hidden to a greater or lesser extent at the option of the Web site owner), and my experiences were always reasonable.

As a vendor, I started using them a couple of months ago, and (so far) have been pretty happy. Their take is a bit high (around 14%, including the credit card processing fee), but there are no monthly minimums or per product carrying costs. You can customize your site to use all or part of their services. The charge for your customer's downloading is quite
reasonable (pennies for megabytes). We've had no complaints from customers related to DigiBuy service in several hundred orders. Their server seems sometimes rather slow, but not unreliable.

Our store is at http://www.nr.com/com/storefront.html
Nothing fancy, but you can see how we've integrated DigiBuy.
Feel free to try it out by buying as much as you want .
