I'd like to use the Python MySQL module, but I think it is not installed (or I don't know the correct way to import it). Should I install it locally, or would it be better to ask for it to be installed?

It's not currently in due to all of the revisions but if you'll leave a link to it we'll have a look and see if we can't get it installed for you...

Sorry for the delay, you know, I'm supposed to be playing with this in my free time

The module I'm talking about can be found on http://www.mysql.com/Contrib/MySQLmodule-1.4.tar.gz
Is an interface to the MySQL engine from Python, and it could be very useful in some cgi scripts i'm preparing.

Let me know what you think.

I have got this compiled and installed into the core python library... Please test it out and see if this will handle your tasks at hand...

Path info:
/usr/lib/python1.5/lib-dynload/MySQLmodule.so
