.com and .net

ok...seems that the domain names I checked yesterday are now GONE!!! I think the registrar's system wasn't working yesterday, since the names have been registered for over 2 yrs .

So, I've come up with another domain name...wondering what your views are on getting a .net with a .com ?

Branding can be a good thing if branding is on your agenda.

If you lock up the .com and the .net and really like the name and want to promote it, and or sell it later on, an extra $35.00 (less at other regs.) may be a worth while investment for you.
