Deep, deep search and replace?
I moved and my phone number changed for the first time in years. I use that phone number on most of my student communications, grading data bases, resumes, etc. and don't feel like manually changing it all.
The last time this happened, I used a search and replace program for Win 3.1 - it dug deep on my trusty 386 and actually changed the number everywhere it occured. Alas, that program died with the computer, and I don't remember its name.
This program actually replaced the phone number string in files (doc., .pub, .ini, .txt, whatever) stored in zips.
Does anybody know where to get anything similar? Thanks!
