What is a "Corrupted Log File Entry"?

Just noticed several "corrupted log file entries" in my stats and I'm wondering what they are and why they are there. Any info appreciated.

Without seeing the logfile lines, it's difficult at best to speculate...

Most likely, someone tried to shove a garbage request at your domain - many times directed at CGI scripts...

This would follow the old rule of: "Garbage in - Garbage out"
