Is everyone happy with this host?

I need a new host. Is this host reliable, with good tech support?

I just signed up and so far the support is great! I've heard from many satisfied clients and they love it here.

Hi Joe

I'm relativly new here too. The hosts here have always responded promptly with every question that I have asked. Since I'm just learning all of this, there have been MANY questions.

Hi JoeT!

We've had our personal homepage on Susogi.net (the subdomains division of FQuest for those of us who aren't big enough or advanced enough for a whole domain of our own) since August (round about when they were first taking people on Susogi), and it's been fantastic. We are constantly amazed at the supportive and enthousiastic attitude of both the techies/hosts and the FQuest community -- and it really is a community here. This is about as friendly a forum as you'll find outside of forums that are specified for "support" and such -- thanks to the people behind FQuest and the people who are developing their sites here. Even on "just" a subdomain package, we can't keep up with all the options and resources made available to us here -- there are so many and they're always expanding and improving. When we have a problem or a question, the help is immediate (once I posted on these forums, then decided to email the tech support about the issue, too, but before I could finish the email, there was a full reply waiting for me here!) and very very encouraging, supportive, and friendly. You might want to read more in the Advanced Development forum and Server News to learn about the more techical aspects, as for the people aspects, I think you'll find it unanimous: it can't get any better than this!

I'm incredibly happy with FQuest as my webhost. I've said it a few times over tho, so rather than repeat myself, here's another post on this board of me being happy with FQuest services http://www.aota.net/ubb/Forum4/HTML/000041.html

You'll not find a better hosting company anywhere.

hmmmm trying to calculate the cost of advertising now...

Lesse... EWS, Doug, Paul, Sandy, Becka, Del, and many others that I'll only not name because they haven't posted in this thread are tossing out ads for us everywhere <grin>

Did I promise you all $50 per good word something? I'm going to go broke PPP

Thank you... this is the PERFECT way to start a day!! I will make sure this thread is the first thing Terra sees when he returns

You guys are the best! (I think I say that a LOT lol but I doubt you mind

Deb
p.s. Paul -- I'm deducting $25 from your virtual payment on kind words <grin>

Hey JoeT. You asked some questions that haven't been answered.

Quote:
Is this host reliable
I'm in a hospitals IS department. I've surfed to several different hosts looking for the one that I would choose. We have a T1 to the Internet. Why tell you this? I've NEVER had a problem connecting to my site or FutureQuest. Can't say the same for others. Connecting from home on a 56K modem produces the same results.

, with good tech support?
Excellent tech support. Not only do they have these searchable (thanks Terra for pointing that one out to me)message bases that seem to keep the messages forever, but they also have online help at www.aota.net.

Send a message to FutureQuest at around 9:00pm and send one to one of the other hosts you're considering and see which answers first. Then do the same at 12:00am and see what happens. For me the average turn around time is about 1 hour 30 mins.

Knowledgable....If they don't know the answer they'll point you in the right direction. (I'd like to see Terra's Favorites folder). Not to mention the other "tenants" will help as well and no one will BASH you. So you'll feel like I do, that no question is a stupid one.

One last thing. I've seen several 30 day money back guarantees, but not a 90 day, so with that in mind, how can you go wrong?

Mike
