Need Help With Webpage!

Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong? I am trying to set up a directory on my website for a set of pictures. What I did was to build a webpage using Photoshop's automate/webpage function to create a page with a set of pictures on it. That process went fine, and all the thumbnails and linked full size pictures and navigation work fine when I am viewing the page offline.

My problem is that when I create a new folder in my website and upload all the files and subfolders that Photoshop created, I get a file not found notice when I try to go to that folder online.

This process had worked for me before, but I can not figure out what I am doing wrong. I would appreciate any ideas anyone has to help me.

For reference, here is my main page that I originally put up to show pictures of an anniversary party, using the Photoshop automate action to create the page:

www.robertkramer.net

Then I also created another folder for pictures of my niece's wedding, using the same photoshop process, which works fine:

www.robertkramer.net/JennysWedding

I used CuteFTP to load the above files, and tried CuteFTP, CoreFTP, and the Futurequest file manager to upload my recent pictures without any luck.

Please let me know if anyone as any ideas about what I am doing wrong.

Thanks!!

Bob

Bob,

We need to know what the address for the new directory is supposed to be to try and look.

Also have you accessed your CNC File Manager and looked to ensure that the naming of the Folder you created matches what you believe it should be, remembering that files and directories are cASe sensitive...

Also make sure you uploaded the Directory to your /www directory and didn't place it above the /www directory.

Re: Need Help With Webpage!

Bob, thanks for the response.

I uploaded the same file/folder batch to two subdirectories under my main directory.

This one was uploaded with CuteFTP:
www.robertkramer.net/Photography

And this one was uploaded manually (file by file) using the file manager process:
www.robertkramer.net/Photos

Thanks!

Re: Need Help With Webpage!

Hi again Bob,

If you will access your CNC File Manager you will see that the Directories were both placed above the /www Directory.
/big/dom/xrobertkramer

You would need to either move the Directories to your /www directory or reupload the files, making sure they are placed within the /www Directory.
/big/dom/xrobertkramer/www

Using the CNC File Manager if you select the Directories indicated and then use the Move File button at the bottom of the page you should be able to just move them.
