Re: Received line IP - blocking range

Thanks Terra! I haven't had time to digest the Wikipedia article yet but I will begin my quest for range blocking again with it as my guide.

63.226.35.128
63.226.35.129
63.226.35.13*
63.226.35.14*
63.226.35.15*

63.226.35.19*
63.226.35.20*
63.226.35.21*
63.226.35.22*
63.226.35.23*
63.226.35.24*
63.226.35.25*

...?

I want to make sure that something like 63.226.35.18* won't actually match 63.226.35.18 .

Thanks!
Hi Ryan Peterson with Infusionsoft here. I have been trying to communicate with you concerning this issue. I have left notes on the SPAMCOP complaint you filed, but you have not responded. Since you munged all your data I have had no way of contacting you. We have a very active abuse desk, but don't shutdown people based on one complaint. If you can provide me more data I am more than willing to look into the issue and take the appropriate action.

Re: Received line IP - blocking range

I will apologize in advance for my tone... But you must understand that I am SICK TO DEATH of irresponsible mailing services like yours who refuse to vet customers or their lists, and who ask for the targeted email address so you can "investigate" the origin of the spam, when all you're likely to do is to perform listwashing services for your abusive customers.

You and other mailing services just like yours are a HUGE waste of my time, the time of countless others, and of Internet resources in general.

But here I am wasting my time once again:

How? I've received ZERO communication from you via SpamCop.

I would respond if you would actually contact me.

Yes, you do. You respond through SpamCop, and I receive your email at the address I have given SpamCop.

One complaint? How about a dozen?

Even if you can figure out how to contact me through SpamCop -- which is actually quite easy to do -- you're not going to get the spammed address from me.

The idiot-- *ahem* -- customer who is spamming me is an obvious get-rich-quick scammer. And complaining about abuse victims who munge their emails isn't going to win you any points.

So, talking to me here will work just fine.

Here are your options:

1) Nuke the spammer.
2) Get blocklisted.
3) See Option 1.

Thanks.

Re: Received line IP - blocking range

And here, for everyone's benefit (or detriment, depending on who you are) is a sample of the crap that InfusionSoft helps their customers send -- OVER AND OVER AND OVER -- from people like "Tony at Joshua's office":
Quote:
Do you remember the favor I told you
I was trying to get for you x.

You are so going to love this...

I got far more than I hoped for and it is
a win/win for everyone, especially you.

I was trying to get you something special
from my friend Jeff Smith and he really
came through for me.

Jeff as I told you is one of the worlds
top Success Coaches he has mentored
some of the business worlds best and
brightest.

Helping them increase profits and working
with them to help improve their lifestyle by
creating more leisure time.

Well it turns out Jeff is not only a
brilliant Coach but a great friend.

What he came back to me with is going to
blow you away!

Jeff has developed the "Ten Day Turnaround"
a coaching program where he teaches one
new and easy to use technique or idea over
10 days.

Focusing on teaching you skills and concepts
to make immediate changes to improve your
income and lifestyle.

It revolves around you doing just that one
simple thing or applying one concept each
day as he explains it.

It is designed to be easily done while creating
powerful changes in your lifestyle!

-This is the coolest part-

He is giving it to all my members as a favor!

Yep everyone of you gets the "Ten Day Turnaround"
so you can start making some positive changes in
your life x.

That is OVER $15 Million worth of training he is
giving my members... Nice favor huh?

All Jeff asks for in return is three simple things.

1. You actually use the 10 Day Turnaround and apply
it to your life.

2. You giving some feedback or a testimonial for the
"10 Day Turnaround" based on your experience
with it. Which he can use for marketing this program.

3. You agree to participate in the interactive wrap
up phone conference with Joshua and Jeff at the
end of the 10 days.

Now that's a great trade!

I can't wait to hear about your experiences and
results with this program. You will be amazed
by what you can accomplish in just minutes a
day for 10 days.

I can't wait to kick this off. We will start your
Ten Day Turn Around Tuesday September 22nd
x watch your email for details.

- Joshua

P.S. I am extremely excited to be able to bring
the "Ten Day Turnaround" to you all and hope
that you really dig in and get as much as you
possibly can from it.

Stay tuned we will have a site up for this soon
you are all going to get a lot out of this program.

Stay Tuned...
Thanks, but I'd rather not "stay tuned".

I'd rather see the transmitter's plug pulled.

Re: Received line IP - blocking range

Thaks Jeff, coincidentally I was just looking up certain IP's. Baidu hits certain of my pages once per hour, what's up with that... (no question marks for rhetorical questions.)

That second link is perfect I'm adding it to my local home page right now.
