I figured it out! I was considering giving up after only one minute, but it seems easy now. If I didn't read that it takes just basic math, I'd worry that it's too advanced for me and I might have wasted time with more complex figuring.

If I was a little faster to figure out that I need to click "private messages" in the "private messages: 1 unread" notice to read it, I might feel good about myself.

It had taken Dr. Duke well over a year himself, and he would always explain that the smarter you were, the longer it took to figure it out.

Sigh, then I must be a blooming idiot!

After rolling the dice the first time, I instantly saw and understood the solution to the puzzle and was consistent through 10 more dice throws...

I only confirmed the solution with about four or five throws.

I thought I had it down after the first 15 minutes of it -- 4 or 5 throws in a row -- and then my theory fell apart. I guess I'm smarter than I look, but I give up.

I'll PM you a hint. Let me know if anyone else wants one. Learning how simple some of these type puzzles really are could go a long way to helping you solve more like them. You could solve it with the most basic math. Even using the word "math" might get some people to try more complex stuff than is necessary.
