[FQuest Announce] MySQL Account MGMT Now Available To ALL!

MySQL Now Included w/ The Visionary Package!

Many of you have asked for it, and now FutureQuest is offering it. All Visionary Packages now include one MySQL Database with full access to the MySQL Servers!

There is no charge for this service. It is included with the cost of the package. All new _and_ all existing Visionary Package Site Owners may now enjoy the power of MySQL!

To activate and manage your MySQL Account simply visit the brand new MySQL Account Manager that is now located within each package's Command 'n' Control (CNC) Panel.

MySQL Account Manager Now Available Within Every CNC

As noted above all CNCs have been upgraded to include FutureQuest's exclusive MySQL Account Manager.

Note: The MySQL Account Manager is not intended to serve as a replacement for scripts such as phpMyAdmin. If you need help working with MySQL we encourage you to visit the tutorial links located in the Helpful Hints section of the CNC as well as taking advantage of the knowledge right here in the community.

The MySQL Account Manager is there to make managing your MySQL Account itself simple and convenient. How you work with MySQL as a database for your web site is completely up to you

The MySQL Account Manager enables you to instantly:
  • Activate A New MySQL Account
  • Create Databases
  • Change your MySQL Password
  • View Account Details such as:
User/Host Names, Available Databases, & Disk Usage.
  • View Tables & Extended Table Information
  • Combine Databases
  • Delete Databases
  • Rename Any or All of Your MySQL Databases
(Yes! You can now choose the names yourself!)
Hint: The CNC is located at: http://www.example.org/CNC/ Remember to replace "example.org" with your own domain name. Once inside the CNC note the menu now includes a link to the MySQL Account Manager

Coming Soon

The above announcements are just the beginning of what FutureQuest plans to provide for you as we approach the New Year.

In addition to the above, FutureQuest intends to make available the ability to purchase Extra MySQL Databases as well as an enormous amount of free feature upgrades, lower prices, and other surprises, that will be announced just after drops off your presents at the FutureQuest Data Center.

Keep a close eye on FutureQuest between Dec 26th, 2004 and Jan 1, 2005.
We plan to start the New Year off with some fireworks of our own!

In the meantime, we wish you and yours a stress-free and safe holiday season filled with peace and good health.

Happy Holidays from

The entire team at FutureQuest, Inc.

Re: [FQuest Announce] MySQL Account MGMT Now Available To ALL!

Hi Deb,

Well, well, what a surprise, I didn't expect that. Thanks very much.

Will there be new MySQL servers going online? I am sure everyone will be rapidly installing every MySQL blog and MySQL forum they can find, simply because they can when they actually have no need for them

Best wishes with the new offerings. I hope this works well for everyone especially yourselves.

Did you happen to see a present on Santas sleigh called 'PHP5' or is that waiting for the Easter Bunny?

Pete

There are plenty of dedicated MySQL Servers up and running now, several holding in the sidelines, and we'll of course obtain more as required.

RE PHP5 - I saw something poking out of the bag.... couldn't read the entire lable... all I could see was P5 ---

Oh my, you have been busy, haven't you?!!

But, but.. now you just took away my main excuse for not downgrading! "But I can't downgrade to Visionary, I might decide to use the MySQL databases this year..." Well, with any luck my bandwidth is about to go over 3GB/mth again, so I'll still have an excuse.

Then again, maybe I should upgrade to a High Capacity server so I can create 707MB files more easily

Thanks team! FQ does it again!

LOL, don't forget the MySQL poll script that we only need once in awhile...

Thanks, FQ. Even if I don't need them, it gives me one more thing to brag about my fantastic host.

you people are crazy - I love ya - bless your hearts

you always deny the options that the other isps offer, build your own architecture, then offer something homemade that trumps the others easily

...and it always catches me by surprise

Woo-HOO!

Once again -- POOF! -- you prove Futurequest is the greatest!

Can't wait to see all of the new gadgets and gizmos...

Heck, this is the first time I'm seeing the forums' new look, and I'm likin' that, too! (Looks like I need to follow the trend and create a new avatar, too...)

Thanks, folks... I'll be running to my mailbox every five minutes, waiting for the next announcement!

...Bob
