Feeling spoiled today? <grin>

We're here... just working.. I think it took us about 4 hours to respond -- not that bad

Have much to accomplish this week.

When the emails are heavy they take a bit longer to respond to ... We do try to go as fast as we can though.

At any rate... I'm not sure about the formmail problems you are having -- I do know the formmail script on the server is working. You may want to just take a step back and rethink the whole thing and visit the PHP.net site and see if they have any suggestions also...

It's working for youuuuu

But not for me.

Even a pristine form generated by your form generator wouldn't work for me.

I apologize if I'm being bratty.. I've just been trying to get this to work since last night and am not having much luck.

Oh, and it's not a problem with the PHP script... There's something in the PHP mail() command that won't work with qmail's autoresponders.

It's not that the script doesn't fire off an email to the autoresponder. It does that. The autoresponder just never replies.

What are those randomly numbered files in my .autorespond directory anyhow?

We're taking a closer look at the formmail now... to see if there is something up there... will let you know what we come up with.

The 'random numbers' being generated are part of what stops the looping with autoresponders..... They are control files.. (we don't really like them... which is why Terra is looking at putting in a different autoresponder setup eventually)

Ok.... yep... there is a problem with the mailform -- not a clue what it is yet as it hasn't been touched for quite some time.. but can tell you Andrew is working on it now..

Best advise to anyone who already has there forms up -- don't touch -- whatever is wrong (providing they used to work and just suddenly stopped working) will be fixed on this end

He he he...

http://www.aota.net/cgi-bin/redirect.pl

Go there and get stuck in redirect limbo!

Anyone know where Deb and Andrew are? I've sent off several support emails today and I'm curious if they're just really busy or not there

I have this really annoying problem that's TOTALLY holding up a big project of mine.

PHP does not work with autoresponders, it seems, and I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Does PHP format its mail headers correctly?

Respond in PHP3/SQL forum, not here, thanks

Jake
