After using Eudora for many moons, I became dissatisfied with the memory-hungry, 4.x versions and began looking for another email client with similar features. I ran across a great client called Calypso, downloadable from
www.mcsdallas.com . The filtering is powerful and sets up very similar to Eudora's. Calypso also supports multiple email accounts along the same lines as Eudora, with all incoming mail going into a universal inbox. Or, if you prefer, you can set Calypso up with separate mailboxes for each of your accounts.
One thing lacking is support for HTML mail, but this should be in the new release scheduled for early this year. Also to be added are email templates ala Eudora's stationery, with inline macros for subject, date, etc.
It's only $24.95 to register the program, and future updates are free to registered users. Best of all, tech support is friendly and helpful, something I can't say for Qualcomm anymore.
