Mail down?

Our maxpatchink.com that's on Phoenix will not connect.
It gives the following error:

The server responded with an error. Account 'comments', Server: 'maxpatchink.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: "Port 110
Server Response: " Port, 110 Secure(SSL) No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

and on another email account it showed this:
The SMTP server returned an error: Account:'newsletter' Port 25 Secure SSL Error number 0x800CCC60

any suggestions?

Hello Moke,

I was able to connect to both your POP and mail server via telnet without any problems.

You may wish to try this yourself, using either of these tutorials:

Also we have been seeing increasing instances of Firewall problems when accessing email, problems that just seem to crop up on a local machine or network, so checking your firewall, if one is involved would be a good idea.

That particular error is connected with many, many email issues both in sending and receiving.

tried everything looks like maybe Outlook Express is corrupted. The client computer using Eudora off our other site maxpatch.com works just fine, but this one on maxpatchink.com will not work at all.
