Am I the only one who has trouble reading the page at http://www.msn.com/? In Win2K with a resolution of 1024x768 I need a magnifying glass to read it.

In IE it comes up as like a size 1 font... but in NS it's a normal size 2... go figure. And don't get me started on the fact that they don't even allow you view the page if you're using Opera.

Yea, go figure. I figured out that I could hit View, Text size and change to medium and it looks ok. There is probably a way to fake MSN out into not knowing you are using Opera although you shouldn't have to. So much for those antitrust violations.

I'm on a Win2000 PC with IE6 (1400x1050 resolution) and although the text was really small intially, I was able to change the size through IE's View menu.

Mozilla is banned as well. There's a big thread going at Slashdot about it...
Konqueror lets you fake the UA string, and when you do, it renders the page just fine. They are just pulling more stunts to get everyone using Windows (or IE at least)...
At least I never had any interest to view their site anyway...
Neat trick if you have a mouse wheel:
Hold the Ctrl key and move the mouse wheel to change font sizes on the fly.
Works in other ways in some other Windoz apps - like MS Word where it changes the zoom.

Tom,
Thanks for the tip about the ctl-wheel thing. I've had a wheel mouse for over a year and never knew that.
Nifty little trick.

Hmmm, I had no trouble viewing everything on that page at 1280X1024 on a 19" from halfway across the room. But of course that does raise the question as to why anyone would want to visit msn.com in the 1st place. Thank your lucky stars if it's not viewable and just move on.
And that control+scroll is a great trick. I've been using a scroll mouse for ages and never knew about that.
Thank your lucky stars if it's not viewable and just move on.

I've known about the ctrl+wheel zoom thing for ages because I keep doing it accidentally:\
