I've seen that picture (and many variants) a few times over, and thought it was funny the first time or two etc. My question is: who is this guy? Is it someone I should know, or just something that got posted and got out of control?

BTW, that other forum... wow, lots of time on some people's hands...

Supposedly the original one with the guy in the skull cap on top of the WTC with the plane flying inbound was circulated starting a few days after the disaster. Apparently, some people thought it was real. I guess, after that, other people couldn't believe how easily these gulli-bulls (as Bugs would say), were fooled, and started making all these variants on the picture.

At least, that's how I understand it.

Who the guy is...I have no idea. Some nameless Schmoe.

Yes, I thought *I* spent too much time gabbing online and stuff. Now I see that there are people who need help far more than I do!

Apparently, some people thought it was real. Oh Boy did they!!! My first view of the picture was via a frantic email from a family member (and uhh gulli-bull as bugs she can be). Oh my, was she ever upset. "Deb look at this. That poor man didn't even know it was coming...etc etc" As with so many other emails she sends my way (bogus virus warnings, chain letters, spam, requests for money to save children etc etc) I was happy to let her know this too was an untrue picture.... So on that note...I'm happy some people had enough time to add godzilla to the pic, which is my personal favorite ;)

I'd also hate to see her face if "that guy" ever showed up in front of her in line at a grocery store or something LOL
