I want users to download a TIF file from my site. How would I do this? I am using Dreamweaver 3.:\

The two easiest ways would be to direct link to it and tell them to 'right click/save as', or zip it up and link to that for automatic downloading.

I would love to rightclick/saveas but the file is 14MB because it is saved for print. I use a Mac and I haven't been able to find a zip application that will run on a Mac. :\ Any suggestions?

Winzip doesn't run on a Mac? For some reason I thought it did, but the name would imply otherwise, and I don't see any Mac mention on their site. :) Stuffit (http://www.stuffit.com/) is a Mac zip monger, er, manager, that purports to run on a PC, but don't believe them when they say it... Well, technically it does run, but the rest of your computer doesn't. If Stuffit for Windows handles zip files, wouldn't the Mac version also be capable of it?

Ok I figured it out. To start with, I was "clicking dumb.":hehe:
In Netscape, you right click and choose "Save this Link as...".
In Explorer, you right click and choose "Download Link to Disk."

That was easy!!%)
