I might have a complaint about an affiliate program that seemed to have removed my affiliate membership from their program altogether. Without any explanation or anything. And still to this day, I do not have a clue as to what caused it ?

Not only did I have some money in my account, I also had 6 referrals that joined under my membership.

Also, it seems that the only way I could contact them is if I was still a member myself ? They don't seem to have any phone numbers or even mailing addresses anywhere in their site ?

So, anyone out there have any ideas or suggestions as to where I could go from here ? Is there anyone I could contact that's in sort of responsible as the "Internet police" or something like that ? And that they could check out this affiliate program to see if it's legitmate or act as a co-between betweem me and this affiliate program ?

Thanks in advance !

Sincerely,
--Dan

Dan, you can try checking the whois record for their domain and use the contact information shown there.

There are no "Internet police", and even if there were, this is not a matter that the police would handle since this is a civil matter.

If the company owes you money, you will need to pursue court action (small claims court in the state they operate or your own attorney).

If you have evidence that they have defrauded you or others, you can report the incident to the Better Business Bureau of your state and their state. Contacting the Attorneys-General of the states is also recommended in cases of fraud.

But, read your afilliate agreement *carefully* before you claim fraud. Many programs can delay payments up to 90 days from the time they are earned. Also, most agreements have sections allowing the sponsor to drop participants whenever they want.
