LOLA - Syntax Error on parser.pm

I run an RSS feed from slashdot using crontab and the rss2html.pl Open Source perl script. Every so often (maybe once or more every two days) for a while I got the error:

syntax error at line 1, column 54, byte 54 at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i686-linux/XML/Parser.pm line 183


But this does not always happen, just every so often. Any ideas as to why?

I just answered my own question. Slashdot's RSS file currently redirects to their homepage. Well that's pretty dumb ;)
