Anybody have any dealings with directdeals.com? I need a new win 98 cd and they have it for $88. I've been stung recently when buying off the net and just wanted some FQ input first this time. I will probably find the missing 98 se cd and the win 95 cd that goes with it after buying a new one but I have GOT to have one. My brat pack (that's what we call unruly Ashley children) either lost the cd or I hid it from them and can't find it after the infamous never-ending move to our new house. Gosh. I actually have the win98 cd just no cd KEY!!! Without it, it's just another piece of the windchime featuring old yukkie program cds and free aol disks received unsolicited in every batch of mail.

I bought a copy of windows 2000 from them this spring and they shipped it right out, no problems to report.

Regarding the CD Key, if it was a retail version you bought, you actually can probably call Microsoft and get the cd KEY (or a new one). I was surprised how helpful they were (after asking some questions just to be sure everything was legit) and the hold time wasn't bad either.
