It was great to see that your friend has also posted that Canadian article on their site.... my site has become sort-of taken over by this whole thing too. But then, what hasn't been taken over by this? :\

I had that same message forwarded to me. One line in particular jumped out at me:

Can you name me even one time when someone else raced to the Americans in trouble?
Although "raced" may not be quite the right term, the French certainly deserve a fair amount of credit for the United States existing in the first place! An oversight that notable calls into question the rest of the article, unfortunately.
