View Full Version : Problem with Seven (or perhaps DNS)

Earlier today, several people in various locations (and using various ISPs) around the country reported that our domain (ethermoon.com) was not responding for them. At the time, it worked fine for me and a few other people.

Now, several hours later, no one can appear to access it. Personally, I appear to be getting DNS errors.

I'm pretty sure we're on SEVEN (but I can't access our admin panel to verify). Is anyone else having similar problems? Any word from the FQ side of things?

Hello Martin,

It appears that your Domain registration has expired :(, from Network Solutions whois:
Domain Name: ETHERMOON.COM
Record last updated on 11-Sep-2001.
Record expires on 21-Jul-2001.
Record created on 21-Jul-1999.

Getting with Network Solutions before they release your domain to the general public will get you back up and running. Remember that there will be another period of propagation that will take 24 or so hours after you reregister your domain name.

Good Luck,
Bob

One would expect them to notify you though. Most unfortunate.

I remember there being an IP address we could use to administer our site. Is that feature still available?

thanks.

Maybe double check to make sure your contact email and real world addresses are still current. I use network solutions and receive both email and real world mail from them before it expires.
