I sell CDs on my site and even though "The Music Store" is the first link listed, I still receive inquiries where they can buy CDs. So I'd like to rename the page and would appreciate suggestions. Some I've seen are:
Online Orders
Shop
Merchandise
Online Store
Which of the above seems the most obvious or does anyone have any better ideas? Thanks much!

Staying in tune (pun?) with your theme it may work to just change "The Music Store" to "The Music Shop". Shop being the term that triggers that lil piece of the visitors brain that is connected to their credit card rather than their email client :P
I would also include links as often as possible to the appropriate ordering area. For example:
When I visit: http://www.mjblue.com/home.html I see four of the latest releases yet when I try to click on the pictures I'm taken no where. That'd be a great time to beam me over to the order form ;)
Sure I could read and figure it out but I'm constantly being told that people do not like having to do that. Then again if I listened to this advise the FutureQuest web site would be a pretty picture book rather than a content driven site...which may result in more sales...hmmmmm I'd continue to babble but I have a site to redesign now :P

I like The Music Shop! Thanks. I'll add it to the top of my list.

I noticed that the other day when I tried to click on them myself but forgot to make a note to add the links when I had time. I just now made the changes - except I don't sell one of the CDs - not sure if I should just leave that album cover linkless or have a link to her site - away from mine. But anyway, thanks for the reminder! It probably would have been weeks before I remembered...

Cindy, I skimmed the first line or two of your post and then went to mjblue to see what CD's you were selling. I couldn't find any, so I came back and read your post.
Here's the way I didn't find anything - here's my unsuccessful thought processes. I have no idea if my reaction would be typical. I'm pretty much in a daze with a cold, but I suspect many people web-surf all hazy-like.
Anyway, I found "Music Store" right away, but when I got to mjcd.html I was looking for a few words in the list of links on the left of the page - "CD," "album," or "buy." I think I was also looking for a picture of a CD. I didn't see anything. I clicked on "music store" again. I tried clicking on the pic, but nothing happened. I gave up. I didn't scroll down to the "ordering information" area; the current browser window didn't extend that far and I didn't see it.
That's a nice title on top of the page, but perhaps it could say something that includes the words "buy CD's here" or something similar near the top of the page. I would have caught that, even in my daze!

I made the album cover smaller and added "Shop for Michael's CDs here. See below for details. " Thanks for the suggestion.

How about renaming it...
BUY CD'S

Rich pegged it. :)
Seriously, you may want to try "The Music Shop" for a week, then "Buy CDs" for the next, and compare the success of the two. I'd personally bet that "Buy CDs" is more successful than pretty much anything else.
