Hi Everyone! I am new to FutureQuest. I just got a new domain here, and in the process of switching my other domain over here. It seems like such a community place. I have seen good reviews written about FQ, and like having the bulletin board. Thanks for all the help, in advance.

LOL, I didn't even notice it. I will refrain from using that. Sorry:\

Hope you enjoy your stay and may it be a long one.
Have a Good One,

- I think I worked for FutureQuest for about 10 minutes when I was set straight by Deb, course she's been trying to set me straight ever since :P -
Welcome - and congratulations on your wise decision to join FutureQuest. You won't regret it.

Thanks for all your wondeful intros. I am happy to be here. Plus thanks to Deb for setting me straight on FQuest/FutureQuest. :)

Jan,
I'm sure JonnyBlaze will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he means he likes the fact that a webhosting company has a bulletin board at all. It is still rare in this industry that a webhosting company has the confidence to let its customers (and competition) talk among themselves and it wouldn't surprise me if FQ (Don't worry Deb, I always say FutureQuest) were the first in the industry to have one.
Joe.

Good Point Joe. I completly agree. I have been looking for a host for a couple of months now. My current host is having major melt down after a huge migration and they can't get things back together. I just happened to find FQuest by accident. After reading all of the reviews that were available and coming and trolling around the bulletin I was highly impressed. I have never seen a company with that much faith in its community to "ok" a bulletin board. I think this is the greatest thing. B/C it provides free access to all kinds of different tech gurus, and not so gurus who may have an opinion. I am really happy to be here, and glad I was able to find such a suitable community.
Thanks,
Jonny%)
and it wouldn't surprise me if FQ (Don't worry Deb, I always say FutureQuest) were the first in the industry to have one. I couldn't say for sure simply because the Internet is a mighty big place but I only know of one other forum setup by a host like this one that was actually here before ours. At the same time, theirs is now closed to the public so I _think_ FutureQuest has the longest running publicly accessible community hosting support forum online.
:stardanc: And uhh yes... through thick and thin I'm proud of it! :stardanc:

Me too, and me too :)
Hopefully FutureQuest won't be mad at me, but I keep saying to others "well, if you want an example of a good company, look at FutureQuest... they are the absolute best company with the best customer service that I have ever dealt with, in any field." I just hope that when Deb or Terra go to buy a car or something, the dealer doesn't say "No, I'm sorry. I can't sell to you because you've made our life too difficult. Our customers keep coming in and saying 'why can't you do business more like FutureQuest?'"

The free ISP Freedom2Surf used to have one, but it's been closed for 'upgrades' for what must be close to a year now, which is a pity since the forums were always very busy due to all the problems there.. besides, staff members rarely posted.
I do know of one other (UK) host with a forum, which isn't as good as this one, but I won't mention them for obvious reasons and haven't been there for ages anyway.
