I had the best possible present: my daughter and her husband took my wife and me out for a birthday lunch, and announced that they're expecting their first baby next April. :stardanc:

This will be our eighth grandchild, but it never ceases to be a thrill. Have to admit I got quite dewy-eyed - but that may have been the effects of the lunch-time wine!
