Singin the keyboard blues (rambling)

well it all started this mornig when I knocked my coffee all over my keyboard - and it decided to acta ll funky on me - soi cleaned it dryed it off putit bacl together works betetr but er the ever implkrtant shift key still beeps at me and dont work argh
plus i've worn off 4 letters in the past 2 years so i go out and get another - which says onthe box it's AT and PS/2 compatible NOT -

wait for rush hour to pass and go to another store hoping to find an adapter rather than return the dang thing - no adapter but htat store is chock full of PS/2 keyboards so i bought and and then blew $100 on graphics software cus well dang I deserve it - stoopid keyboards! oh but ten I went into my pcokets and didnt have the cash i htough I had aargh charg charge thank goondeess for platic huh?

yeeesh!

why cant they make those stupid keyboar dadapters all one size is it soo hard?!

you will notice that havinga new keyboard did not improve my typing skills

well with about 3 weeks left in our break I can hopefully nuggel up to my graphics tools and do what I have to do for the websites.

Hey Lea!

Ptooey on the keyboard. We had the same problem with ours, actually, the guy we bought this from was just selling the CPU, we thought, okay, fine, we'll use our old monitor and keyboard. Wrong attacher-thingy on the keyboard. At least we've got 3 puter stores practically right behind our house: through the alley and less than a block in either direction!

So what program didya get? Now that we have a scanner, "new graphics software" is right on the top of our running wishlist, but don't know what to want. We're meaning to ask for recommendations over in the graphics forum. We got a photo-edit program included with the scanner, but it's very lame -- it doesn't even support GIF files! What's the good of it? :P

By the way, I think you asked recently if any new graphics had gone up at the Free Graphics Library at Susogi.net -- yes, it's been updated just a few days ago, with a bunch more backgrounds and some layout changes. Check it out at susogi.net/graphics (http://susogi.net/graphics)

Micrographix Picture Publisher - we had another product by them - phtot magic whoch had a lot of kewl effects on it - but it was didfficult to do anytoing outseid of photos and this one sounded realy kewl and lie it came with scads - so far it is the way kewlest graphiucs programs we've had like it better than PSP got lots of neat things you can do with it http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

bummer bout the scanner progam man that bites - man my mom's bf jst go a scanner bundled with Adobe PhotoShop how kewl is that?

ps - well this mornign believ it or not I found the adapter ion the floor to the first keyboad I bought! yaknwothe one I thought wasn't compatible even thoug it said so onthe box!aaaaaargh!
