Things have been getting rather disorganized here in my office. Unfortunately I don't have a room to put everything in, so I am stuck with keeping it in here. I never thought we would have 4 servers, 3 of which are in my office, plus all the stuff that goes with them. I am looking for some computer furniture. Something like:
http://www.a1computerdesks.com/noname1.html looks nice, but judging quality over the net is pretty tough. Does anyone here have a brand or supplier they have dealt with? I have a budget of about $750, I think a 48" rack would work nicely. We are in the Tampa, Florida area.

Thanks... Rob

I have a belkin equipment rack I'm trying to get rid of. Can't give you any specs, as it's still in the box ;).

You might want to check at ebay for what you need before you go anywhere else to buy. With all the dot-com shutdowns lately there is a real glut of equipment for sale out there.

I checked Belkin's website, only saw 19" racks unless I missed something.

I also checked on Ebay, saw one but they wanted a pickup at the site which is impossible. The others were 19" racks.

Thanks.

I've purchased a few LAN racks from http://www.a1computertables.com apon recommendation from a friend a Boeing and then another friend at Cisco. All I can say is that their Racks are the highest quality I've ever seen.. very sturdy, easy to assemble and there service is the best i've encountered on the internet. I'll defintly buy my LAN racks again from Versa Products and I'm planning on purchasing a few tables because I hear that their tables are just as good.

just my 2 cents.

We just picked up roughly $75k worth of Dell racks, servers, UPS, and software for about $17k from a failed dot-com, so you definitely should check that angle out.

You can find these guys at
http://www.versadirect.com

or
http://www.a1computerdesks.com

The first one just redirects to the second site which is their store... I guess they are making a new store and that is what the first link will be when they are finished. Regardless their service is great and their product is very reliable.

Sorry about the bad link.
