View Full Version : How can I use a dynamic changing proxy so i'll be invisible ?
Hi,
I remember reading once in this forum (can't find the message back) that some one was using a kind of public proxy that will change very often so it would be impossible to know the IP of the person using this feature.
Can you tell me which web site do offer those services ? (free if possible).
Thanks,
Benj
Benj,
Were you thinking of Safeweb?? http://www.safeweb.com

If you are on Windows box (and not behind a firewall) you can use the program “Anonymity 4 Proxy” from iNetPrivacy Software (http://www.inetprivacy.com), which gives you quite good privacy. “It includes a database with hundreds of anonymous proxy servers from all over the world, and helps you choose the fastest anonymous proxy for the website that interests you and check the degree of your anonymity. You can block cookies, modify request headers and inspect all the info sent out by your browser and modify any part of it!” (Cit.)
If you're behind a firewall, it will work too, but is a little more complicate to configure, as it requires you to understand the protocols to some degree and understand NAT (network address translation) and/or PAT (port address translation).
One other system I can recommend is the JAP Anon Proxy Project of the Technical University Dresden (Germany) (http://anon.inf.tu-dresden.de/index_en.html). This system works similar to the so called ‘mixmaster remailers’ (but for web traffic). Just follow the above link, which provides a detailed description.
