We have just redesigned our site and I would like some input on how it works.

The address is:

Checking in with IE 5.0 1024X768 Cable Modem.

All looks great from here. Very nice and the pre-image loading appears to be doing the trick as well....

I did notice one error while surfing the site...

http://www.aztecmedia.com/pages/resume.html
The "Web" Image Link Returns a 404 Not Found Error
at http://www.aztecmedia.com/pages/web.html
Looks like it should be:

Using a 56k dial up connection, I found that main page took a while to load. Furthermore, it appeared to have some images "missing" from it: The left sidebar has a white square in it resembling a missing image.

The top graphic menu (right underneath the "Aztec Media The Art of Communication) seems to be missing on the main page. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be but if it is, the word "video" appears by itself on the left sidebar in small fonts.

Other than that, it looks like a clean and tidy website :)

Oh, I wasn't going to say anything, but...yes...

The graphics are BEAUTIFUL. I loved them. Once they finally loaded.

<disclaimer> I am currently on a *choke* 33K dial-up connection. The DSL connection has been down for almost 64 hours, now. :waa: The ISP has provided me with temporary "free" dial-up that BLOCKS PORT 25!!! :*
Anyhow, I didn't say anything about the slow download, because I figured that no one would be using a 33K connection, except for someone who hasn't used a dial-up modem in over two years, and this is all that we had lying around the house from two years ago...</disclaimer>.

I did go over several of the pages. I really like the look and the layout.

Your site looks fantastic, except for the homepage which has a big gap in it for me.

Here's what I'm seeing: http://navalarchitecture.org/temp/aztec.jpg

Netscape 6 on Linux, DSL connection.

I'm also seeing some lateral white gaps like Jeff, although nowhere near as cavernous.

The photography flipbook brought up the first image OK, but no other pictures were found (just got errors "<image file> not found").

Apart from the front page as already commented, everything looks excellent.

I'm on a cable modem connection using IE5 on a Mac in Japan and your site loaded fast without any gaps. Your graphics are great. I liked the site a lot. Very 8}

Thank you for all of your input. I'm working on all of the things that you found wrong with it. I don't know for sure what is happening on the index page, but I'll work it out.

One other thing. Did anyone try to look at the video and audio. The address is http://www.aztecmedia.com/pages/videoaudio.html
I want to know if it works right and if people are able to see the video without any problems because that is one of the major parts of our business.

Thanks again for all the input. :stardanc:

Hi Dan,

I’ve just checked again some pages of your wonderful site and I still see some fine white lines in the picture of the homepage. Those lines disappear after some time. Here is a screenshot of them (http://mmf.at/vivien/temp/aztec_home.jpg). I used IE 5.5.
