Never had a problem in the last three years until last week. The first case was a complete rip of my vBulletin BBS... graphics layout and .css. They never even took time to edit out my name!! :) Stopped this BS with a few .htaccess redirect files.

Then this morning I notice a cart load of extra sessions in the stats that shouldn't be there. A little digging later and I find the site below linking to a game review box shot. A waist of 95MB in a day and a half.

.htaccess to the rescue again. ( I hate leaving the .htaccess redirects in for very long though)

My question... should I even bother with reporting this to virtualave.net? I have my doubts that it would do any good and would just be a further waist of my time.

Anyone have any first hand experience with reporting c**p like this?

It's a warez site and most likely a violation Virtualave's Terms of Service (TOS)...

That is enough to give them the boot...

If they don't comply, then report them to the:
SPA: http://www.spa.org/

or BSA: http://www.bsa.org/

or if all else fails:
RIAA and/or the Harry Fox Agency, Inc.
http://www.riaa.com/
http://www.nmpa.org/hfa.html

The last two will go after anybody or anything and are almost guaranteed to win 100% of the time due to greasing the pockets of legislation...

Thanks for the addresses Terra, I'll shoot an e-mail to the first two as soon as I get up today.

It looks as though the .htaccess files did a great job again, I won't know for sure until tonights stats though. Crossing my fingers. :)

Great work on vB BTW, I'll try harder to be more regular around here.
