View Full Version : How can I receive mail sent to my IRM account?

I have just signed up for an IRM a/c for my new "irm" domain.

Until now I have only had a shell account for my main domain with all mail forwarded.
This means that anything@maindomain.com is forwarded.

This works fine and I now want all mail addressed to anything@irm.com to be similarly forwarded to the same destination.

I have read your docs but cannot find the answer.[nbsp][nbsp]Also tests I have made sending messages to myself work fine (as usual) for anything@maindomain.com, but test emails i send to anything@irm.com apparantly are lost in cyberspace.

What must I do please?

Both will go to the same place, as IRM email overlays your Primary accounts email addresses...

It sounds like your IRM has not fully transferred to us yet, as our mail system sees your *true* MX record...[nbsp][nbsp]If the root nameservers are not pointing at us - then we would not receive inbound mail...

Without knowing the domains in question, I'm afraid I cannot help any further...

If I understand you correctly, I should not have to do anything to have emails addressed to my irm.com automatically forwarded.[nbsp][nbsp]

You say that it sounds like my IRM has not fully transferred to you yet. However, when I enter the url of my irm ( http://www.domainsnow4u.com/ ) in my browser it works OK.

To complete your info, my main domain is http://www.successnow4u.com/

Hi Fred,

Propagation is a tricky fellow ;)

The following will all propagate separately,[nbsp][nbsp]with and without www, FTP and Email.

Checking the whois, it appears that your DNS was just updated yesterday, which probably means last night, so patience will be the key to this one.

Hope this helps :)

Have a Good One
